High Power Rocket Vertical Stands

I wanted to make a vertical rocket stand for my larger sized model rockets, Since i had just built numerous horizontal rocket holders for assembly using ½" PVC, i figured i would use the same for this stand. Start off by choosing how many legs you want your stand to have, i included the options of 3 or 4. Then print off that same number of the Foot Pads Grab the appropriate size of Ring and Cap to use Lengths of PVC for the legs needs to be as close to identical as you can Length for the vertical portion of ½"PVC can be whatever you want it to be. Pieces are nice and snug, but can slide in or back out easily into the ½" PVC Tubes, You do not need to glue these in place but of course you can. I actually slid my lengths off of my horizontal rocket holders to take the pictures and make sure everything fits/works. OD of the parts that slide inside the PVC are 15.75mm (½" is 15.7988) while the outer diameter of those joints are 21.5mm, so it lines up with the OD of PVC exactly. 21.6mm is the inner diameter of the Motor Rings. They slide on easily and stay put. I used a single ring, with the cap at the top and those 2 points hold my rockets nice and straight up. The length of PVC shown in the images are exactly 5.5" long. They hold hold my rockets nice and securely, but you can go shorter to take up less space, or larger for more stability. My heaviest rocket thus far is a Madcow Torrent at about 5' tall and weighs in at 4.45lbs. The Motor Ring/Caps are all .4mm smaller than the ID of the corresponding Motor Mount so your rocket slides on easily and the base does not lift up attached to the rocket if you pull the rocket off of the display stand. Also, You can fit your Aeropack retainer on the display stand so you dont have to store it elsewhere, though it requires you sliding the vertical portion off, and putting the ring around the PVC, below the bottom Motor Ring before attaching back to the main joint (This is shown in a picture as well)
