high shoulder ball bearing 6203 (17x40x12) - no cage is needed update: another version for 15 x 6mm balls this bearing is filled with 11 balls (Ø8mm - steel, plastic, ceramic or self printed balls) through a filling hole. there is a resistance when the balls are pressed into the raceway. therefore there is no problem that the balls fall out during operation. the normal bearing has 7 balls and it carries 3 balls when loaded. in the shoulder bearing, 5 balls carry when loaded. therefore, the force is distributed over more surface area, which increases the service life. in addition, it can be loaded axially to a higher level due to the high shoulders. this means it can withstand lateral impacts or short-term transverse loads and cannot be destroyed as a result, since there is only a 1mm gap between the inner and outer ring. the bearing has the dimensions of a standard 6203 ball bearing: 17mm bore, 40mm outside and 12mm width. of course it doesn't hold much, because it is only layered plastic - so for repairing the washing machine i wouldn't use it. the layer thickness should be less than 0.2mm and the filling 100% (lines or concentric). after printing, roll up a piece of sandpaper into a small roller and rework the raceways to remove the z-seam and print residue. some silicone grease improves the running properties. you can try to print balls yourself. with 8mm balls it works quite well. but run and durability are not good with printed balls. therefore i recommend using balls made of polyformaldehyde. so called POM balls - see link: https://aliexpress.com/item/1005002870289724.html the weight of the complete bearing with POM balls has only 12 grams. also look at the other ball bearings (608, 6201): https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:5785781 https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:5818005
