A simple model that angles the HIKEIT throttle controller up if you mount it on the lower dash trim. You can purchase the controller from https://www.hikeitusa.com/?ref=31 (affiliate link). This was designed for the X9, although the X5 appears to be the same size. • There are two versions. One is if mounting to a flat surface and the other if the surface is curved. Scion tC owners wanting to mount it in the same area as I have will want to use the curved version. • Use 3M mounting tape to attach this to the dash. You will need to sand the side facing the dash smooth to make the tape stick better. I started with 100 grit then wet sanded with 400 successfully. If using the curved version, be careful to not mess up the curve. • Clean the mount and dash with alcohol before applying 3M tape. • The throttle controller display will attach to the side that has HIKEIT printed on it. • When pressing the buttons on the controller, try to support mount from underneath with your pointer finger as pictured.
