Not only do these boots save you space and weight on what you have to carry around with you on your back, they also help you survive a life threatening situation, with this pair of hiking boots, when something goes wrong, you're ready. The sole of the shoe contains two containers,one on each foot, both holding materials for survival situations. The left container can hold gauze, and small scissors, used for cutting clothing. While the sole on the other foot can contain some more gauze and nine strike anywhere matches which are protected by a box.
