Hinge for toilet seat

<p>So the hinge in my bathroom toilet seat broke and I wanted to print a replacement. The ones I found didn't quite fit the seat I had so I designed my own. After several iterations and trying different print settings i came with this one and has been there for some months now without breaking.</p> <h3>Print Settings</h3> <p><strong>Printer Brand:</strong></p> <p>Creality</p> <p class="detail-setting printer"><strong>Printer: </strong> <div><p>Ender 3</p></div> <p><strong>Rafts:</strong></p> <p>Doesn't Matter</p> <p class="detail-setting supports"><strong>Supports: </strong> <div><p>Yes</p></div> <p><strong>Resolution:</strong></p> <p>0.16</p> <p class="detail-setting infill"><strong>Infill: </strong> <div><p>At leats 50% for the hinge</p></div> <p><strong>Filament:</strong> PrintALot PLA White</p> <p><br/> <p class="detail-setting notes"><strong>Notes: </strong></p> </p><div><p>I printed the tube at 20% infill and the hinge at 70%. You should print them in the position they are in the files. If you print the hinge in another orientation it will probably break as the layers will separate.</p></div> Post-Printing ============= <p><strong>Sanding</strong></p> <div><p>You may need to sand the tube and the hinge rod to fit the seat. Be careful to not sand it too much as it will have too much play and put unnecessary stress on the part.</p></div> </p></p></p> Category: Bathroom
