Hinge Mould - Part 7 and 8 of the Flexy-Hand

This are two moulds to make all hinges needed for a flexi-hand at one time. Instructions The mould is printed with PLA, a layerhigh of 0,2 mm and a fill density of 20%. To cast the hinges I used a 2-K-Silikon named "Wacker Elastosil M 4370" whitch I had in stock. But I think a lot of other Materials will work also. For all hinges you need about 16 ml. To get the hinges easy out of the mould I also designed to smal parts to press them out. This works realy fine. But the Material I used was not the best choise. So my second try was with dragon skin 30 and this works fine!
