Hinged Filament Guide

A simple filament guide was required above my extruder to keep the filament away from some pesky cable ties that were causing occasional rubbing issues. However, I also needed a design that wouldn't get in the way when loading the filament. This problem needed a solution. The filament guide was designed specifically for the extruder assembly on an Anet A8 printer, but its versatility allows it to be used anywhere on any 3D printer with a conveniently located screw. The slot is perfect for 1.75mm filament. To add extra functionality, I've included a hinge pin and cap. These small parts (M3) can be easily substituted with an M3 screw if needed. The tight hole provides additional rigidity to the hinge. Happy printing!
