Hinged Ruler+Pencil-Top Eraser Cap+Initialed Case

My daughter wanted to enter the contest, and suggested these ideas. I just like using stuff on Thingiverse- remixing things and mashing up others in Openscad, and then seeing how great we can print them. The Hinged Ruler can be printed out on any bed, and plays like a snake. The Pencil-Top Eraser Cap holds the plastic erasers when you need to erase a LOT, like my kids do. And my daughter loves stuff that's personalized, especially in customizer. Update: Lengthened 1st "link" in ruler so that it would be a full 12 inches end to end. I'm also hoping to add some metric measures at the top, but haven't decided on best way to do it yet. Update 2: Thanks to brucethehoon for pointing out that the first update was fused at the first link (due to a translation error on my part in Openscad). It has now been corrected so that the very first hinge will more freely after the small bits of support are sliced through carefully with a precision knife. Fully updated now. Instructions The STLs can be printed (after mirroring for the ones with lettering) in netfabb. I will upload the Openscad files for the others in the days to come, but the customizable pencil case is the first one to avoid confusion for the contest. The hinged ruler can be printed on just about any printer- just watch your tolerances in the Openscad, mine are pretty loose. The Pencil-Topper is designed to hold one of the plastic white erasers that my kids love.
