Hishaku - Japanese Tea Ceremony Water Ladle

Hishaku - Japanese Tea Ceremony Water Ladle

thingiverse

My first from-scratch 3D model. My wife wanted a model of a Japanese Tea Ceremony for her first steampunk racing sculpture (Splendid Teapot Racing) and I found every piece but the water ladle. So I figured I'd try to make one. This is my version of a Hishaku, the bamboo water ladle used in a traditional Japanese tea ceremony. Proportions will be off a bit (this will be scaled down and can't have too long a handle) and was never intended for actual use so probably doesn't hold water (but we all gotta start sculpting somewhere, right?) Will be test printing this with an Elegoo Mars resin printer soon. Not sure how texture will work for FDM use.
