HMS Prince of Wales Battleship (1940)

This is a model of the HMS prince of wales, one of the 5 battleships of the King George V Class battleships, composed by King George V (1940), Prince of Wales (1941),Duke of York en (1941),Howe (1942), and Anson (1942). Although many of the members of the class didnt saw much action, mainly because arctic convoys and stuff was starting to requiring less heavy ships and the raging supremacy of aircraft carriers, both King George V and Prince engaged the DKM Bismarck, just when prince was just lunched, but was heavily damaged, and in december of that same year, he was sunk by and aerial attack. Their sistership, "Duke of York" fought alone against the Scharnhorst Battlecruiser (sistership with Gneisenau) in the Battle of the North Cape, where Scharnhorst fough alone against: 1 battleship, 1 heavy cruiser, 3 light cruisers, 9 destroyers. ===================================================================== ** BTW... ** ===================================================================== This model is still on progress if you want a full pretty fancy a$$ ship, you will have to wait a little more ( im busy with college, almost no time free).
