These are fasteners that can be used to mount HO slot car track onto a board. This makes the board easier to store without needing to remove the track from the board or drilling holes into the track to attach it to the board. There are three styles of fasteners, where: - HO_Track_Fastener2 will create fasteners that are flush mounted. - HO_Track_Fastener3 will create fasteners that have a 1 millimeter high base, and can accommodate older track with 2mm thick side walls. - HO_Track_Fastener4 will create fasteners that have a 1mm high base and newer track that may have 1mm thick side walls. This SCAD design also has a 'gap' parameter for the side wall thickness that can be easily adjusted using OpenSCAD. - HO_Track_FastenerTyco will create fasteners that can be used for Tyco track, as they are slightly higher (7mm vs 6mm). Each fastener has a screw hole provided. The STL files will print 4 fasteners at a time, where they can be cut apart with a scissors after printing. The SCAD design files are provided to allow for customizations.
