I looked at a bunch of motor mounts for the Bixler 3 & liked the simplicity of this one & the fact that the motor can be easily swapped out. I modified it slightly to use all M3 hardware (rather than M4 hardware to join the two parts like the original) & thickened the flat parts for extra strength & to accommodate nyloc nuts. The piece that slides into the plane fits M3 nyloc nuts & you need M3x12 bolts to connect the two parts. Using the pictured motor a 9" prop will fit, but 10" won't. I just run the wires through the ventilation slits. Print in PET-G with 100% infill.
