Hobgoblin CoreXY

Hobgoblin CoreXY

thingiverse

A CoreXY design that uses components directly from the Maker Select V2.1 (Wanhao Di3). I wanted to minimize the additional parts needed and reuse everything I could from the Maker Select. The only new parts are some 608 bearings, a few nuts and bolts and a plywood frame. This is still a work in progress, and I will continue to update with build progress and results. Update: Printer is up and running. Everything seems to be working well, I figured there would be at least one disaster. The kinematics are easily handling speeds of up to 150 mm/s, and I had to switch to Klipper firmware and and E3D Volcano to keep up. https://youtu.be/4NBbae04vlQ
