Hobo Reel

For those who are not familiar, a Hobo Reel is a bushcraft fishing pole. It is designed to fit in a backpack and has internal storage space for whatever tackle you might desire to pack it with. I made this one with custom pipe threads so that the fit between the cap and the handle is water tight and does not require a gasket or o-ring. It also floats, as you might expect, so that is a plus. This is a pretty solid little bit of kit for the outdoors enthusiast!
