Holder for spray painting

thingiverse

I created this to help me spray paint my prints more easily. The holder works as a hook for items to dry, as a pincer to pick newly sprayed items up (to let them dry) and as a way to easily and relatively risk free transport newly spray painted items. This has proven particularly useful when I've varnished items as the transparency of the varnish has allowed me to use the hook in places that would be unsuitable for an opaque paint. I've combined the holder with a standard plastic tube from a miniature paint brush that I sometimes use as a lock (as illustrated in the photo). The holder flexes well and can be attached in multiple ways thanks to it's shape and the three holes in its frame. (In the photo the holder is holding the frame of a fidget spinner that hasn't yet been painted.)
