Info:

These holders contain of left, middle (optional) and right part.

The system is adjusted for my solution, where I needed to hang it over my other construction (see photo)

Middle part is universal (but i did not used it)

Dimensions:

Rods up to 20mm diameter

The thing, over which this will hang - 17,5mm max

works well for 1kg filament spools, but can carry bigger

Model

inspired by original - https://www.prusaprinters.org/prints/19970-over-the-door-towel-rod-holder where it holds one rod. So here I need 2 rods for spools support.

I modeled actually this thing from scratch (so it is not a remix in fact), had some problems (i did not know how to reduce amount of edges without loosing a lot of quality), so sorry for huge model :)

but result is printable, see 3mf files

Print instructions:

it fits on Prusa i3 MK3S+ steel sheet quite exactly

no place for skirt or brim (remove them or model it manually as objects in Slic3r)

so my print with PETG Prusament had little problems with warping (becuse of missing brim), but the result is still usable

20% gyroid infill

I have used PETG Prusament

Installation:

for safety:

mount these holders to underneath construction with bolts (there are holes on upper sides on left and right parts)

rods should be screwed in holders with screws - every part has small holes for fixing the rods

since my rods are wooden i needed to fix them together in the middle with wire, this might not be needed with metal rods

Next steps:

print also https://www.prusaprinters.org/prints/8787-hanging-filament-spool-holder so more filament can be hanged (and actually used when printing)

I plan to use it and scale it to my 20mm rods or use remix
