https://youtu.be/GIW52T7sON0 Dieses ist ein Remix von https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:172348 Ich habe irgendwo mal eine Hohlmaske in der Hand gehalten, und war begeistert davon, was mein Gehirn mir da vorgaukelte zu sehen. Durch Zufall bin ich letztlich dann auf "Human Head (NURBS)" von grozny gestoßen, und entwickelte die Idee ein wenig damit zu experimentieren. Hier also das Ergebnis! ;-) Mit openSCAD ist es ganz leicht eine Hohlmaske zu bauen, die passende openSCAD-Datei habe ich natürlich beigelegt. Auf dem Druckbett hat die stehende Maske die Abmessungen: 85mm x 127mm x 173mm. Das Aussehen sollte einer Maske aus Stahl entsprechen, die schon etwas von Flugrost geplagt ist. Ist mir imho auch gelungen, die schlechte Beleuchtung der beigelegten Bilder täuscht da ein wenig. Weil sie mir gefällt, werden ich einen langsam drehenden Stand dafür entwickeln, der die Maske zusätzlich ins richtige Licht setzen wird. Solltest du die Maske ähnlich gestalten wollen, hier meine Vorgehensweise: - Gedruckt habe ich die Maske mit weißem PLA, 15% Fülldichte, 0.12mm Schichthöhe, 4 vertikale Konturen, 5 horizontale Konturen, 80mm/s Druckgeschwindigkeit. Mit einem Modifizierer (PrusaSlicer) habe ich das Kinn abgstützt. Den oberen Teil des Schädels habe ich mit 0.8mm Schichthöhe gedruckt. - Nach dem Abkühlen wurde mit 100mm Schleifpapier intensiv geschliffen. - Als Grundierung habe ich "SURFACE PRIMER - Plate Mail Metal, Nr: 70.628" von Vallejo verwendet. - Als Lackierung habe ich "MODEL METALLIC Air - GUNMETALL, Nr: 71.072" von Vellajo verwendet. - Ganz zum Schluß kommt, nach der vollständigen Trockmung, der Rost. Dafür habe ich "Modell METALLIC Air - RUST, Nr: 71069" von Vallejo verwendet. Der Rost wird in Drybrush-Technik aufgetragen, es soll wirklich nur ein Hauch Rost zu sehen sein. Auf der hohlen Seite der Maske habe ich etwas mehr Rost aufgelegt. Falls du noch keine Drybrush-Technik angewendet hast, empfiehlt es sich auf jeden Fall ein entsprechendes Video anzuschauen, und auch ein wenig zu üben. Bei einem gelungen Druck würde ich mich über einen Like sehr freuen! I printed the upper part of the skull with 0.8mm layer height. - After cooling down I sanded the skull with 100mm sandpaper. - As primer I used "SURFACE PRIMER - Plate Mail Metal, Nr: 70.628" from Vallejo. - As varnish I used "MODEL METALLIC Air - GUNMETALL, Nr: 71.072" by Vellajo. - At the end, after the complete drying, the rust comes. For this I used "Model METALLIC Air - RUST, No: 71069" by Vallejo. The rust is applied in drybrush technique, only a hint of rust should be visible. On the hollow side of the mask I applied a little more rust. If you haven't used a drybrush technique yet, it's a good idea to watch a video and practice a little.
