The only change is the number of pixels (5 instead of 6) and the way the pixels are held in place. I have a 13mm hole with tabs along the edge that fit into the groove in the pixels. The threads work great so there was no change. This model is not an improvement over the one it was based off of. I simply adapted the original one to fit my preferences.
