Home Made Tamper

Home Made Tamper

thingiverse

I needed a tamper for a project at home but couldn't anywhere reasonable justify a 60$ purchase for the project whose total budget was about 60$. I looked at making one and the key features were weight, a face plate, and a pole for a handle. These were all things I had, but not in a condition that would work for this. This print brings these things together in a useful form. The four screw holes provide attachment to a block of wood for the face plate. The external screw matches the screw you would find on standard weights. The internal screw matches broom handles you can find at the hardware store for things like paint rollers. Just like that I have a tamper that fits my needs, will be broken down so I don't have a tool sitting around doing nothing when I'm done.
