This is my own conversion to get Homeworld ships to Star wars armada. As I got into the armada scene, I got a little bit bored with watching space triangles, so I figured I should do something about it. First thing that came to mind was doing the same battle system, witch works, with other ships. As a Homeworld fan, the universe was easy to choose as in my opinion it has beautifully designed and diverse ships while retraining a size and class system that doesn't get out of hands. All prints should be interchangeable with the base game, but sanding will be neccesery to get it to fit snugly. If you want to go the cheap route, thingiverse has some nice files for bases for squads and ships. The models for the kadeshi is from this site: https://www.models-resource.com/pc_computer/homeworld/ I have made some adjustments so they are printable, but otherwise they are untouched. All files are made to be able to be printable on a small printer ( M3d class.........). No Pics yet as I'm in the middle of painting them, but will update once ready. I have for the most part done the other races ( next up Turanics, then hiigarans, vaygr,kushans and taiidani.) , only super big caps left to get to scale. I'll post them as I have made test prints to be sure they work. Only thing left to do with these is to get some sort of rules and cards designed for them. The swarmers should be easy but im a bit conflicted how to incorporate Ion cannons to the game. Either Long range blacks or a new long range die class? Any help with the card design and such most welcome. Edit 1.1.18 03.54 Had to make changes to the mothership as the needle part prints too small at the last joint, updated both files. Recommend re download of the files if you want to print it. Edit 1.1.18 21.08 Added files for the MBF and FP with pegs, and uploaded pics of my atrocious paint job of the ships.
