Honda Accord VIII Podfilter and MAF mount

Honda Accord VIII Podfilter and MAF mount

I designed this MAF and podfilter mount for my friend's 2013 Honda Accord VIII 2.0 i-VTEC. Quite a mouthful. I would suggest you print this in PETG or something with similar or better heat properties, although I must admit that my friend is currently running a less refined version of this thing printed in PLA. It shrinks a little around the ring clamps initially but retains it's shape and diameter quite well. Would not recommend doing that if you happen to live in a warmer climate. This version is printable without supports, at 15% infill. I was able to use the car's own MAF screws from the original airbox. If you find this to be impossible I'd suggest using M3 screws and threaded inserts. We left the bottom of the original air box in place to retain at least some part of the factory cold air intake. This prevents us from losing to much power due to the engine ingesting warmer air. If I ever have too much time on my hands I might print a shroud that fits the factory air box and shields the filter further from the heat of the engine whilst also mounting the inlet more securely. If so I'll update this thing. But until then we'll enjoy the added sound when VTEC kicks in yo.
