Do you own, or just like the 1978-1982 Honda CBX series? I wanted a couple of magnetic logo placards to put on my tool box but couldn't find anything available. So I designed this in both positive and negative relief versions, each of which has a particular purpose. It was cosmetically modeled after a key chain fob I have. If you do print them and wish to paint them like I did, I suggest the following- If you print it in normal (100%) scale, it will be better to print it in positive (raised) relief. This will make it much easier to paint the raised details. However, if you print it at around 150% or larger as I did (see photo), it is probably easier to fill negative relief features with paint. Either way, once fully painted, a few clear coats will add gloss and bring out the colors nicely while protecting the paint work. I like Dupli-Color "Wheel Clear" for this purpose but almost any clear coat should work. I then put self-adhesive magnetic tape on the back (available from almost any crafts store) and they work perfectly as tool box and refrigerator magnets. I have printed three so far and they all turned out great.
