UPDATE 12/10/19 --- My wife wasn't thrilled with the drink/phone She thought it put the phone too close to the drink because of the angle of the phone holder slot. So I redrew the design with an upright phone slot in a different orientation. It's version 5. The glue-in bottom pieces remain the same. I think I have to agree, it will work better. ORIGINAL POST 12/09/19 --- My wife's 2007 Honda Element SC was purchase used and did not have a cup holder. I printed the one by Jack Hydrazine but it did not fit because the corners do not have the proper radius, so I remixed it so that it would work. My wife drives alone most of the time, so she only needs one cup holder. She doesn't watch her phone or talk on it while driving, but she often charges it and needed a place to hold it so that it doesn't fall on the floor. So I drew this cup holder to hold one drink and one phone. The drink holder is sized for a normal soft drink can with a coozy or a small Gatorade bottle. You can print the main part face down with or without support. With support the locking tabs come out a little nicer. I designed the bottoms of both the phone slot and the drink holder to be printed separately so that the main part didn't have a large and difficult-to-remove support structure. It prints a lot faster this way too. The bottoms of the drink holder and phone slot should be installed using cyanoacrylate glue. If you print on glass, clean it carefully and spray a fresh coat of hair spray just before you print the main component. If you have your Z offset set just right to make a good first layer, it will come off the build plate looking like a factory part.
