Honda Rebel 500 Chain Slack Gauge

Honda Rebel 500 Chain Slack Gauge

This is a chain slack gauge for a Honda Rebel 500. Although I sized it specifically for my 2021 Rebel 500 it should work on any motorcycle that uses 45mm tubing for the rear swingarm. It is marked off in 5mm increments. I got tired of trying to hold a ruler or tape measure when adjusting my chain so now I just clip this onto the swingarm until I am done and it makes the whole process much less fiddly. Markings are on both sides so you can clip it to the outside or the inside of the swingarm. Very easy to print with no supports required. II recommend 100% infill but due to the design this should still not take much time. It was only about a 90 minute print on my Ender 3. Should work with any non flexible filament. I printed mine in PLA. Please don't ask me to make it in imperial measurements (already got that from people locally). Even though I am in the US, for 3D printing I operate entirely in metric and it is actually a huge pain to do the markings in inches. The metric specs are marked on the same label on the motorcycle so just use them, metric makes more sense for things like this anyway.
