Honda Shadow RS speedo bezel

Honda Shadow RS speedo bezel

I've had an issue with my speedometer face plate warping on my 2010 Honda Shadow RS. Honda says it's because of my aftermarket Memphis Shade windshield. But whatever the reason, I was getting sick of tearing everything apart and making new face plates all the time. So once I got my 3d printer, enough was enough. These two pieces replace the original chrome bezel (once you get it off). You still use all the rest of the speedometer components, like the rubber seals and trim. You just throw out the chrome bezel. Now you can tweak, mod, edit and fabricate to your hearts content without removing the speedo and having to pry the bezel off every time you feel like making a change. Just simply unscrew the new bezel, make your changes, and screw it back together. The speedo face in the picture is just a prototype, it's not complete yet, so I haven't uploaded that file. But it is made from white ABS, and it has seen plenty of sun and hasn't warped a bit! The bezel is made from Proto Pasta carbon fiber htpla. The color matches the rest of the speedo well, and it also hasn't melted or mis-shapen. I don't think this will work for speedometers that aren't mounted outside of the tank, but this may work for other models just by simply resizing your dimensions to fit your needs.
