The stock tool holder is part of the battery holder and is meant to hold the tools in a bag. To use this holder you have to modify the original battery holder and make a little space on the side cover fastener, mine had two nuts on it so I took one off and it worked great. Velcro straps are the 1/2" wide x 8 inch they have most places. it was meant to accommodate the winker relay if you have one. Happy Trails
