Honeycomb Alpha Yoke iPad Mini Holder

Honeycomb Alpha Yoke iPad Mini Holder

I couldn't find a holder for the iPad Mini to fit the Honeycomb Alpha Yoke. So I created one.

You will need to have a 40mm M5 bolt or similar. You could easily drill out the hole for a larger bolt. I'd recommend washers on each side so that you get a better compression of the PLA against the yoke.

I used Cyanoacrylate and an insta-set to glue the two parts together. I also use the same to glue a thin (1mm) layer of rubber to the inside of the bracket to help keep the iPad tight. Not absolutely necessary. It was designed to allow for some slack due to the typical imprecision in 3D printing.

It was also designed to print without supports. Mine was printed using CCTREE PLA at 215 degrees, 4 shells, and 20% infill.
Category: DIY
