Honeycomb Flight Yoke Lighting

IMPORTANT NOTE: Schematic picture show 680K ohm resistor. It should read 680 ohm. If you buy the LED package shown it is included. This is a solution I came up with for the problem of not being able to see the switch labels on the Honeycomb Flight Yoke in a low light situation. The LEDs and resistors were ordered from Amazon. I used white PLA since I was of of black and had to paint it, but black would be much nicer. I cut off an old USB cable and wired that into the junction box using the RED (+) and the BLACK (-). It is simply attached with your favorite sticky tape on the back of the junction box. Wiring is simple but the size of everything is pretty small and fiddly. I like the brightness that gives but you can experiment with other values.
