Hood for a Water Meter - Innenblende für die Wasseruhr

<p>Zu der neuen Wasseruhr kam leider keine neue Blende, und die alte blendet nicht wirklich. Das Loch in den Kacheln kaschiert sie schon aber nach innen hin sieht es doch noch recht roh aus. Also galt es, mit einer Innenblende den Raum dazwischen einzuhüllen.</p> <p>Die Konstruktion ist im Detail natürlich sehr spezifisch für genau mein Bad, aner die Situation ist vermutlich gar nicht so selten. Die FreeCAD - Sourcen zu diesem Modell liegen bei, so dass es leicht ist, die Maße und Abstände an die eigenen Gegebenheiten anzupassen. Das Model ist parametrisiert, die wesentlichen Maße in einer Art Excel-Tabelle.</p> <p>Wandstärke liegt bei 0,8mm, das Teil hat keine mechanische Last zu tragen und braucht nicht mehr, und so druckt es auch schneller. Ich habe es in PLA und mit Support gedruckt.</p> <p>A new water meter got installed and they didn't supply a new cover. The old one didn't really cover as much as I wanted, the ugly hole in the glazed tiles is hidden but on the inside the sight wasn't really shielded.</p> <p>So I created a hood for the new meter which fits nicely into the old cover and the new meter as well.</p> <p>The very details of this model are specific to just my bathroom but I assume a similar situation isn't uncommon. So, if that applies to you, you can easily adjust the measures of this model to fit with your parts, FreeCAD sources are supplied.</p> <p>I printed in in PLA and it does need support. No need for massive, thicknes is at 0.8mm so it prints rather fast - but you can adapt this, too, it's parametric.</p> Category: Bathroom
