This is a hood rod clip designed for a 2008 Chevy Equinox. This part was previously replaced with a generic part purchased in a bag with about ten different sizes/shapes of hood rod clip. This suggests that, although the part was designed to replace a part in a 2008 Chevy Equinox, the specifications may allows its use in a much greater variety (make/model/year) of vehicles.
