Hooligan Flywheel Press and Puller

This is the Hooligan Flywheel Press and puller kit. The kit includes all the parts needed to build a press for pressing on all manner of nerf flywheels and removing them as well. The press will have multiple forks to work with many different styles of flywheel cages in time, but currently the Open Flywheel Project cage fork is available. When printing, it is best to print the parts with threading WITHOUT support. They are oriented in the ideal position, and this will give a smoother threading. When threading parts together, it helps to add lubricant to the threads in the screw part. I rubbed an unused candle in the threads to help lubricate them, and found this solution offered a great lubricant while also preventing them from being messy. The first time threading will be tight either way, but as inperfections are smoothed, the fit becomes much easier. The arms for he puller should be printed with support everywhere, These can be attached to the base with most common M3 nerf screws. The "anvil" for the press will support the end bell of most motors and prevent then from being pushed out as the flywheels are pressed on. This grants a lot of control when adding flywheels and prevents damage to costly motors. Videos will be added shortly to Demo these tools and explain there use.
