The **Hoover Pooter 2000** by EvoBioMech. The STL files may need to be adjusted to the size of the used jar. Our example has a diameter of 42 mm. **Requires:** * ~30 cm of silicone tubing (dimater: ~ 15 mm) * 7 x 10 mm M3 screws * a portable air pump (link below) * 7 x (11 if using optional barrel) threaded M3 press fittings OR * 7 X M3 nuts (inserted into hexagonal holes in hooter_base_back_V_centrifuge_tube) Fit a fine mesh over the tube leading to the pump inside the jar to ensure no insects are sucked into the pump and all of them land safely inside the jar. Afterwards, seal the lid of the jar using a generous amount of hot glue. Use a hot soldering iron to push the threaded press fittings into the holes of the front base. The two halves can then be fastened using M3 screws from the opposite side. In case the pump is too powerful, place a small piece of foam/sponge inside the tubing leading to the pump.
