Hoover Windtunnel 3 Bottom Cord Bracket

This is a bottom hose and cord bracket for a Hoover Windtunnel 3 vacuum cleaner. So, I said I'd probably never buy another Hoover vacuum cleaner. They're made of cheap, thin plastic, and designed to break. But, my wife was volunteering at the church thrift shop and saw this practically new vacuum cleaner for 20 bucks. She tested it, and sent me a picture. I happened to be at Home Depot, and found the same model for $190. But, the bottom cord bracket was broken off. Now that doesn't sound like a big deal. But, in practice, it turns out to be a pain in the rear. So, I finally got around to designing a replacement part. Fits perfectly with original screws. And, the cord stays put nicely. By the way... I overbuilt this thing, because I didn't want it to break. Fingers crossed. We'll see if it's strong in the right places. 2/16/2020 - After 2 months of use, still working great. Wife noticed the improvement right away. So, chalking this up as a success.
