The original design is awesome and I printed one! However, one of the reasons that I built a Rostock Max v3 was to have a tall print volume. So, I composited the two part model into one (first STL file). I also noticed that the model is smaller than the original prop so I scaled it up to 11.5 inches (291mm). Another issue that I ran into with the composite version is that the many, 250,000+, polygons cause many programs to choke, so I reduced the polygon count by 60% to around 100,000 polygons. I have not printed the reduced version, but it looks nearly identical when rendered. Happy printing and may you find jamaharon!
