Replacement for Hori Racing Wheel Apex internal shifter mechanics. The pedal shifter on the racing wheel does not directly press onto a switch. There is another part inbetween which flexes everytime the shifter is pulled (this is intentional on the original design). The constant flexing causes the part to break after some time. This is a replacement for the internal part. To prevent breaking due to flexing, it is designed with a hinge. The hinge is print in place style and therefore requires a well dialed in printer. The characteristics of the shifter change a bit with this part. First, a bit less force is required on the paddle. Second, the point at which the shifter triggers is now a bit later, meaning you need to pull the pedal a bit further in. At the time of writing this, the replacement parts have lasted about as long as the original part did. The second part needs to be printed mirrored to be mounted on the other side.
