A test piece to quickly see how well your 3D printer copes with horizontal holes. Made in the now classic 20x20x10 mm box. The hole is 8mm. Instructions Use it to simply check if you are ready to print horizontal holes. It is already centered and placed on the ground plane. Slice at your favorite settings and remember the cool-setting since it's a tiny part. My hole came out really nice and round and was easy to clean up, I used a worn M8 rod. The one on the pic was made with PLA on an Ultimaker at 225 C, Feed 80mm/s, 5 s minimum layer time, double walls and 10% line infill.
