Horizontal Spool Holder

Update 7/10/20 - Finally added a holder for Coex brand. After making the direct drive mount for my Ender 5 Plus, I found I needed somewhere to put my spools. I didn't want to put a bar in the wall above the printer, so I set out to design a horizontal spool holder that could sit off to the side on a table or something. Unsurprisingly, not all spools are created equal, so there's been a lot of trial and error to make a truly universal holder. This is the best I've come up with so far. You can print one adapter for every spool you own, or continue to swap it around to whatever one is on the holder. Materials needed: - qty 3 - 2" or 50mm washers, ~3mm or 1/8" thick (you should probably take the base in to the hardware store. You want the washers to just sit over the lip where they seat. - some anti slip material used in kitchen drawers or on shelves / pantries - love 1. Print the base in whatever color you want. It will only really be visible when there's no spool on it. 2. Put the washers on top of each other in whatever order feels like it has the least friction. 3. Print whichever adapter you need for your brand. More will be added as I get other brands. 4. Give someone a hug. Yourself is fine. We all need it.
