Horizontal Thread Holder

Horizontal Sewing Machine Thread Holder This Horizontal Thread Holder is used to convert from a vertical holder to Horizontal to reduce the tension. Some spools are designed to be used in this fashion, specifically for delicate sewing. Using the spool in the vertical direction adds tension every time the machine pulls on the thread causing some delicate fabrics to buckle/pucker. This converter works for spool less than 30mm think. Print Settings Printer: M3D Rafts: No Supports: No Resolution: 200 Infill: 20% Notes: Rotate the model as shown to print without supports. I am considering removing the printed thread holder rod and replacing it with a thread rod for a more sturdy design. As built it will do the job, but there is a risk the rod will break (6mm is a bit thin). Also the rod should probably be move up a few mm to support larger thread spools.
