"The Horten H.IX, RLM designation Ho 229 was a German prototype fighter/bomber initially designed by Reimar and Walter Horten to be built by Gothaer Waggonfabrik late in World War II. It was the first flying wing to be powered by jet engines." This is my attempt to make a fully 3D printable version of this iconic airplane. These are the files for the full model but there will be a few updates to it. NOTE: I have not flow this model yet as we are still under lockdown and cant get the final parts I need to finish my model. Updates to this model will be free for download. Updates to come will be fuse 2-3 battery compartment and Fuse 5 rear retract mounts. All servo's used are STD size except for the drag rudders they use Micro. That is if you want to make the functional. Retracts are STD 40 electric and almost every brand should fit perfect. Twin 80mm 12 EDF's are required with a minimum static thrust of 2.5kg per unit. Battery setup will be 2 6cell or you can play around and see what works best for you. The main spar is a 11.8mm Carbon rod or Alu tube NOTE!! Have updated the CG location Doc. *Big Thanks to my Co-Designer Clay Soehlig for all the help and the late nights working on this model. Every second of your time is greatly appreciated***
