This part is used to connect a rigid PVC pipe with a diameter of 40mm to a flexible gardening pipe. If your rigid PVC pipe is 32mm in diameter, it's here: https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:5517648 The assembly is done by gluing for the PVC part and by screwing a 26x34 (1 inch) end piece for the flexible pipe. A version is also available for a 20x27 (3/4 inch) thread. To ensure a perfect seal during gluing, it is necessary to respect good precision of the end piece to be glued. As for a part purchased off the shelf with very low tolerances which ensure good bonding and perfect sealing, the nominal diameter of 40.00mm must be respected as closely as possible.
