many times i had to disassemble my hot end and cut a piece of clogged PTFE tube just because it slipped a little away from the nozzle back , seems like the pneumatic connector sometimes let the PTFE tube slip a millimeter or two that are enough to create a gap at the back of the nozzle inside the heat block that will be filled with molten plastic causing under extrusion, partial or full clogging and also affects retractions, so this washer will insure the bowden tube is always pressed against the back of the nozzle and no gaps in between, i have used it for some time and seems all fine for me so i thought i should share it for it might help others.
