Hot Wheels Redline Bearing

Hot Wheels Redline Bearing

thingiverse

This is a bearing I developed in TinkerCAD for use when restoring Hot Wheels Redlines, or converting cars to a Redline. It is for use with the appropriate bearing style wheels that are available for purchase from several sources. In addition, other wheel designs can be drilled to use these bearings as well. I've found it best to print them with supports to allow resin to drain out of the hole and to keep the size from "flaring" out ever so slightly at the build plate. Printed successfully on an Elegoo Mars with water washable Elegoo resin. I've used these bearings successfully in many Redline conversions as can be found on my YouTube channel. They are designed to be used with straight pins for the axle, however other axles can be used if the hole is drilled out slightly. In addition, one end of the bearing has a slightly larger hole to allow the crimp of the axle to recess into the bearing -- allowing the bearing to seat more closely to the wheel as well.
