this backplate is designed to use 8x11 mm graphite sleeves. it brings the hotend 5.5 mm closer to the rods to lessen torsion. it uses 'toothies' to hold the belt ends, and is very easy to adjust. the backplate is drilled to mount both e3dv5 and e3dv6 hotends. the hotend mount is included. the fan is a separate issue and there are any number of variations available. the holes are sized to be tapped 3mm, but self-tapping can be done with care. i have found that the usual bands in the e3d mounts are un-necessary if the front mounting piece is snugly tightened and checked after using for a while. if your rods are a snug fit it might be necessary to add a thin shim under the bushing mount strap to prevent movement. any further questions will be happily answered.
