hotshoe mount for celestron red dot star finder

This is a quick and dirty hot shoe mount for the red dot finder scope that came with my Celestron telescope. I wanted to be able to use the finder scope with my camera when not attached to a telescope. I'm not sure this will work with any other finder scopes but it seems like there may be some other finder scopes that use the same dovetail design so maybe it will. Thanks to TheCase for the original Nikon hotshoe cover model. I used it as it was and added the rest of the mount to the top of it. I didn't change the hot shoe part at all and it seems to work fine with my Canon t3i. Instructions Print and use a standard computer case screw for the locking screw. I used an old quick screw from an old computer case so it's easy to tighten with out a screw driver. The hole is a bit small for the screw and could be a little bigger but it worked out well for me and holds nice and tight.
