This is a remake of my first display base released with a new design style. I have also included a 1971 accurate Spa Francorchamps track map, my previous Spa Francorchamps track map was using the modern track map. The display base should fit with any other Mercedes 300 SEL that Hotwheels released using the same casting. If you wish to have a display base tweaked to fit to a different brand Mercedes 300SEL, please send me these dimension for the display base holes: https://imgur.com/5T6mb2L The display base is separated into 2 parts for easy printing and colour swap. The parts are: 1) Base (BaseBuild.STL) 2) Track Map (Spa1971.STL) Print Settings ==================== Nozzle size = 0.3 mm (minimum, smaller better) Layer height = 0.2 mm Filament change layer for colours on "BoxBuild": 1) Start (Base colour, mine is in black ) 2) Layer 26 (Driver names and car race result lettering colours, mine is in white) 3) Layer 31 (24 hours of Spa logo colour, mine is in blue) Assembly ==================== The car is tied by wires through the hole in the base The track map should fit into the hole on the base nicely, recommended to have some double sided tape to secure it. Others ==================== Feel free to send me any feedback on how to improve the design. Suggestion on display base designs are welcomed too. I can be contacted through Instagram or Twitter too: Twitter: https://twitter.com/Giga_Penguin Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/GigaPenguin3DPrinting/ The transparent box I'm using to store the base and car in one of the picture is bought from here: https://shopee.com.my/Tarmac-Work-Protector-tarmac-box-i.13932494.1598531194
