With this 3D printed part and a screw from a electrical switch and one small magnet problem blows away. Glue the part inside the pipe with some all purpose glue making sure that the the vent door can close properly. Put a small piece of Sellotape around the screw put the magnet on the end of the Screw small spot of glue on the magnet close the door making sure that the glue on the magnet touches the door. Make a cup of tea and wait for the glue to dry. Using a small piece of Sellotape to open the vent door take the Sellotape off the screw and screw the screw in so that it is enabling the vent door to open when fan is on. I screwed my screw in about half way as shown in the picture with the pink background the one on the right hand side worked great. 1 gram. 19 minutes.
