This bracket was designed for the [KIT-HGDRONEK66](https://www.nxp.com/applications/solutions/industrial/aerospace-and-mobile-robotics/uavs-drones-and-rovers/nxp-hovergames-drone-kit-including-rddrone-fmuk66-and-peripherals:KIT-HGDRONEK66), which is based on the _LJI X4 500_ quadcopter frame. It was built as part of the [Guardian Angel](https://www.hackster.io/sjvincent/guardian-angel-90dd83) submission for the [HoverGames Challenge 1: Fight Fire with Flyers](https://www.hackster.io/contests/hovergames) challenge. The purpose of these two brackets is to securely mount the GPS antenna and telemetry radio, in an improved way compared to the [NXP HoverGames](https://nxp.gitbook.io/hovergames/userguide/assembly/top-plate-gps-telemetry-and-fmu) instructions. The standard way to mount the GPS antenna is to orientate the base in a '+' fashion, using 3 screws to secure it to the drone's top plate. This orientation means that the GPS antenna will fold down at 45° to the drone's body. The standard way to mount the telemetry radio is to use double sided tape and a single cable tie. So that the GPS antenna can be folded down at 90° to the drone's body and a single screw only be needed to secure it, this design orientates it in a 'x' fashion. In order for the telemetry radio to be secured with only cable ties (and no double sided tape), and so that its antenna can be folded down, this design has created a bracket for it. This design has assumed 2.5mm x 100mm cable ties, however the cable tie notches can be adjusted in the Customizer. It also assumes the top plate cut-out used by the LJI X4 500 kit, the base of a Holybro Pixhawk 4 GPS, and a Holybro Telemetry Radio. A different cut-out and component geometry would require modifying the OpenSCAD file (which is included).
