This is modification of Hovership MHQ with motor deck on top of assembly. Main advantages: no "top heavy" stability problems one deck less propellers are in clear space (bigger propellers could be used however longer arms are recommended) New base deck: better fit into standart reprap printing area no suports needed while printing better access trough the deck to the components (wider openings) arms position adjusted - motor distances are "more" equal (e.g. motors should be almost on square) --- Update 2014-08-22 --- Longer arms added More rigid version of base deck added Instructions Print: 1 x base (or use original and flip it) 2 x base link (either slim or wide) 2 x landing gear spacer 1 x spacer 1 x "upper" or "main" deck from original design 4 x arms from original design Note: The original base (motor) deck can be used too. Original desing is at: http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:251002 Assembly: the base deck flat face should face down add arms below the base (on the flat part of base) and fix them with link add vibration dampers to the base (from bellow) add spacers (gear spacers on ends and simple spacer in the middle) to the vibration dampers insert main deck into the spacers. Fix it with zip ties (or nuts) Note: battery fits bellow the main deck between the langing gear arms. WARNING: Test your vibration dampers! They have to sustain quite high load - there is a risk that they can pull out during some maneuvres. Use loose zip tie connecting the spacers and motor deck as safety measure to prevent full separation..
