How much filament is left - dip stick

Hello 3D printing world. This is my first contribution. I hope it goes well. I designed a dip stick to estimate how much filament, by weight in grams, is left on the spool. I'd say that it's accurate to within less than 100 grams, but I have only tested it at two points. You place the bottom arc on the filament and read the number that the standard size spool edge is closest to. The jagged edges on both sides are arrows that point to the spool (plastic reel) edge.
