Found a [neat 3D printed robot arm](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wI4Jh-T0Tlo) based upon NEMA 17 steppers, including one with a reduction gearbox. Of course, still waiting on parts to finish my Prusa Bear Clone off, and of course the key parts of the robot arm are too big to print on my Flashforge Finder. Had a crazy idea. The step file was available so I thought can I scale this down? The answer is yes. Though there'll be some TBD mods required, to ensure bearings and shafts used are stock sizes. Still I found a special on NEMA 8 with gear reduction, so why not I say? These first drafts should not be used as they mark my experiments with using FreeCAD scaling. More to come as I get time. Probably will need OpenSCAD to design new pulleys etc.
